L’Shae Mia Dib (She/HER)

BPsychSci, BPSychSci(Hons), MProfPsych,MProfPsychPrac

I am a registered psychologist and EMDR therapist who loves working with tweens, adolescents and adults. I am passionate about working with PTSD, cPTSD, trauma and anxiety and have a particular interest in helping to support those with ‘invisible illnesses’ or chronic conditions that are sometimes overlooked or dismissed by medical communities such as; chronic fatigue syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and tinnitus.

I have a very warm and collaborative approach that I apply to my sessions, I wholeheartedly believe that the expert in our sessions is you. I am here as a guide to help you to carve out the space for personal growth and empowerment- to be uniquely you. I strongly connect to values-based work and learning how to tune into the body and our nervous system to help promote resilience and foster healing that results in behavioural change. The experience of mental health challenges can be incredibly isolating, the world can feel lonely and the experience of hopelessness can be profound, my job is to help us navigate this suffering together and steer toward recovery.

When I’m not in the psychology room, I am practicing new skills as a soon-to-be qualified yoga and meditation teacher. I’m passionate about ethical living, mind-body integration, veganism and I like to spend my time out and about in nature or snuggled up on the couch with my cheeky little dog, Keira.

L’Shae Mia Psychology works on a sliding scale, for students, concession card and health care card holders. Fees will be discussed upon your appointment booking with our admin team

PRIVATE CLIENTS

A referral from your GP is not needed to access psychological support. Clients do have the option to pay privately or claim through their private health insurance. Please speak with your private health insurance provider to determine whether you are covered and able to claim your psychology sessions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We ask for at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment.

This enables us to offer the session to someone else needing support

For these reasons, we apply a cancellation fee of 50% for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or not attended without informing us.
